Set side of vehicle/ lock on "frendly" taget

Enemy units in frendly vehicles dont seem to get registerd by radar as enemies resulting in a "fail to lockon".

I have given 3 teams in my mission that all have some F16 and some Tunguska's, but the Russian team is not able to shoot at the "guerillas" Tung because they cannot lock on to it. The same happens with the lock on the F16C's too and a lot of other "one-sided" vehicles if entered by another team then the side it belongs to.

Question:

Is it possible to make change the registration of the vehicles to the player-side of the actual player inside?

Or change the vehicle to the other teamside completely true a namelist config. It would be nice if it was possible to get this to work without having to change the addon .pbo config. I'm not great with scripting and i have looked everywhere so any help would be highly appreciated!

Found it some time ago: In the unit (vehiclecfg) add this > side=Twest will do it if you want an east vehicle to be able to to change side!

I too am very interested in knowing how to make a friendly vehicle into one that can be targeted and fired at... with stingers etc. For example... if enemies are in a friendly helicopter, how can another helicopter belonging to the same side lock onto it and shoot it down?

Any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks.
