W0lle 1052 Posted February 25, 2010 Not too difficult, grab the flag textures you need. Save them as .paa files with 512x512 px dimension and create a pbo file which contains all the textures.

W0lle 1052 Posted February 25, 2010 Either using BinPBO from the BI tools or Kegetys ArmA2 toolsuite.
scars09 9 Posted February 26, 2010 since flags can be applied as textures from the missionmakers, think about it if you really want to make an addon. there where ofp and arma flag packs which basically where the flags as jpg or paa files. missionmaker can then choose one or more flagtexture to add to his mission. advantage of that method is that no additional addon (your flag addon) would be needed. i made extensive use of those flagpacks back in my days as missionmaker and still have them all on hd in case i will need them someday. here is a link to an example, subfactions excellent ww2 flag pack http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=3970

scars09 9 Posted February 26, 2010 don´t know what exactly you refer to. to assign a flagtexture to a flag in editor, place a existing flagpole and write this setFlagTexture "yourtexturename.jpg" in the initfield of the flagpole. the texture need to be in the missionfolder which is generated after saving your mission. to make a flagpack, provide the textures in a 256x128 size as jpg or paa files. pack them as zip or rar and give the people a downloadlink. if you have any talent with editing textures try to make some shadows on the flags like subfacition did with his flagpack. the more unique your flags are the more people will like them.
