Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 Hello, My issue at the moment is that my server can be seen on the server list, it can be joined, you recieve data, see the MOTD as well as spawn at base (this is a warfare BE server) and see AI running around for one second before recieving "No Message Recieved". i have forwarded ports 2302-2305 on tcp/udp. battleye version 1.
$able 2 Posted February 18, 2010 Does your server crash a few minutes after the first player joined? Also, is the BE Server version shown on initialization below 1.103? If so, it is most likely a problem with the BE Server's auto-update. Could you send me your server's .RPT file containing the crash log then?
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 the server stays going. When i remote to the LAN IP it is on its fine an still running. ill get you that log. ---------- Post added at 12:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:22 PM ---------- infact, i cant. because it isnt crashing :P Also Battleye initializes as 1.140, according to what the server says on connection via LAN. $able 2 Posted February 18, 2010 So what is the current BE Server version on your server (check the server console, not in-game)? If it's already 1.103 the problem isn't related to BE most likely.
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 what command do i enter in order to check the version number?
$able 2 Posted February 18, 2010 Just check where it says "BattlEye Server: Initialized" right after the server starts.
mosh 0 Posted February 18, 2010 Just check where it says "BattlEye Server: Initialized" right after the server starts. I assume you mean the server console it you run a server from home? What about a rented server where I can't seen the console? Is there a command for the new server RCon thing that shows version?
cri74 10 Posted February 18, 2010 It says when you connect to the server right after you press continue when you are looking at the map/mission screen in the same place the normal chat goes.
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 according to $able, that isnt the best source, otherwise he wouldnt be after the console readout.

Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 thats OK, its just free bumps :P
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 perhaps just turning off Battleye and see if it still DCs on connect? Battleye doesnt say its taking any action, it only kicks because BE is not responding because they've got no message recieved..
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Disabling BattlEye does not solve this problem. ---------- Post added at 10:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:57 PM ---------- perhaps i need some special server version of warfare BE ?? i tried using a stock standard mission with and without battle eye, and it still disconnects at the same point.. $able 2 Posted February 18, 2010 Is there a command for the new server RCon thing that shows version? More commands including that will be added soon.
Swiftarrow 10 Posted February 19, 2010 Current issue still stands. Found nothing else of it. Do i need to have something about gamespy in my server.cfg in order for it to work? all i know about it is that it manages the server viewer, and everyone sees the server and connect to it... just not for very long....
