aircraft bounce off placable LHD when changing time of day

i have the placeable LHD and put it in the water in chernarus. i placed some static aircraft around to make the deck look cluttered. everything is fine, and then i changed the time of day from 1400 to about 0300, and then all of a sudden all the aircraft bounce around like crazy or blow up? why would changing the time of day do that? it doesnt do it at all in Utes (although that LHD is unmovable and placed there by the game) is there actually a high/low tide in this game cuz if i have to heights based on the time of day that will be really annoying. anyone else having this wierd issue?

Most likely has something to do with the tides, which are most likely in the game.

ah...nevermind figured it out. i had to adjust the heights on some aircraft by just a hair. so they would stay still both day and night. never seen the game do that before though

Do the tides really change in the game? I know there are waves etc but i didn't know the water level went up or down.

They definitely do change. Ever try Isla Duala? Play it for an extended period of time and you will notice that some times the river crossings are dry/low water and sometimes they are very high water crossings that a Humvee can barely cross (They can cross but only a bits of the top of the humvee shows).
