advocatexxx 0 Posted April 9, 2002 I don't believe that weapons was in service back in '85, then again, this game isn't restricted to '85 era.
SPAEM 3 Posted April 9, 2002 alot of people have made weapons that past 85 like the oicw and the other ones so why not add this oneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
KDF 0 Posted April 9, 2002 The Dragon was in service from the 70s until fairly recently - its been replaced by the Javelin..it would suit the 1985 timeframe perfectly, being the ATGM regular US infantry would probably have at hand rather than the Karl Gustaf in the game. scout 0 Posted April 9, 2002 dragon is the shittiest ATGM ever, it really sucks. but i agree thats the weapon of choice in '
animalica 0 Posted April 9, 2002 When this is the anti-tank weapon which flies straight towards the target and goes up, short before the target to hit it from above, then it was already done. I`m not sure, but I think it was made by Kegetys. Worked very well - but be careful when handling. After ignition it drops a little bit of height until the jet stream kicks in with full power. Kegetys simulated a Javilen with a Carl Gustav...it was nice, but AI couldn't use it (due to the drop off) and the issue here is an entirely new model. I would quite like to use a Dragon, but the user would have to be crouching with the bipod hanging infront of him instead of sitting properly (which I think looks totally ridiculous). quakergamer 0 Posted April 9, 2002 I can alaways try to make it...
scout 0 Posted April 9, 2002 the main problem is that the Dragon tends to pop up and down: it has multiple charges on the sides of the missile that are activated by a chip that calculates the rate of sinking by the missile. this in turn is the cause of its great problem: missing the target! the missile can over shoot its target if it happened to pop up while it needed to go straight. which the dragon just cant do! u need to be VERY skillful with this missile. and i dont know how ull simulate its zig-zag path.
