Capture cards 2. screen recorder program however capture cards require cash, something im am not made of and previous experiance with screen recorders tends to make the cpu lag horribly please note i am new to all this, but im trying to get in with it, if you understand me. any help would be well appriciated thanks
nettrucker 142 Posted January 29, 2010 I guess the most used screen recorder is Fraps and as far as I know it is not free. I for myself purchased it because it's usefull and I use it a lot. kind regards nettrucker
[GLT] Legislator 66 Posted January 30, 2010 however capture cards require cash, something im am not made of and previous experiance with screen recorders tends to make the cpu lag horribly I recommend Fraps. I'm using Fraps 3.0 on Windows 7 and I can capture ArmA II on 1920x1080 px. It's recommended to have a very fast CPU, a fast hard disk drive, save the movies to a partition where ArmA II isn't located and use a ramdisk to increase the performance of loading textures. I'm uploading a video right now so I can proove it'll work :)
