sammclean23 10 Posted January 24, 2010 Hi, I am wondering whether I should play Arma 2 online. I have read a lot about it and it sounds well...daunting. there is so much detail to the game (more so with ACE 2) and It led me to believe this game really does take a lot of dedication. After reading a guide on Shacktac's website I wondered whether it would be for me. It sounds absolutely amazing, the best online experience I have ever read, however does it need additonal time as oppose to Modern Warfare, for example? it is much appreciated if someone could enlighten me further :) Sam
dmarkwick 261 Posted January 24, 2010 Just join a Domination server. That's like playing single player sometimes :) or, you can actively work with whoever is around. There is no penalty for being a noob :)
galzohar 31 Posted January 25, 2010 You can always try and quit at any time, nobody is forcing you to play any more than you actually want to. Even some squads won't mind if you only show up when you have time, though you'd have to check that more on a case-by-case basis, not sure if there are any actually good ones that will allow that. There are a LOT of ways to play this game, just do what you enjoy.
robs456 0 Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) If you want to play it for the experience you should check out Charlie Foxtrot, cfarma2.com. Massive PvP battles. When you join one of the CF armies, they'll take good care of you and teach you everything you need to know. Edited January 25, 2010 by robs456
