Arma 2 downloadable content?

I have been reading the forum topics and have come across armaholic.com and f2 developmental framework for building/editing Arma 2 missions. Are these actual legal downloadable content that Bohemia interactive endorses or are these hacks that work with the game?

First of all there are no "hacks", this isn't necessary as BI products are highly customizable without hacking their games.

The addons, scripts, Mods and missions at armaholic (and other community sites) are community created content which is not supported by BIS. And yeah they are legal downloads.

They are addons and mission making tools. BIS surely are happy that these things are created and used. Thats how they created ARMA to be. Addons are the blood of the body - ARMA. ;)

So go to armaholic and all other nice news/hosting sites and start downloading/using the glorious community created addons.

You've got to be kidding with this one right? This is one of the most well-known games for it's addons. Heck, Bohemia Interactive give us the mod tools (some of them anyway)... Of course they are legal content... Blimey.

Yeah I've been hearing these rumors you can get up to 12 years jail time if you use the mission editor included with the game. As to why the mods allow this riff raff posting about their latest criminal activities on these boards I have no idea.
