icebreakr 3159 Posted January 5, 2010 Does anyone know how to limit the difference between high water and low tide? Sometimes (based on BIS formula) the river passings are over than 2 meters deep, so only few vehicles can pass. How to make the water level fixed? ;)
[aps]gnat 28 Posted January 6, 2010 At a guess, if its like all other BIS versions, then no, tides are hard coded. At a guess maybe Long. and Lat. may change it a bit. You could always use other peoples trick. Dam the head of the river and then place "fake" water in the rest of the river, 2 meters or so above sea level. Yeh, not the best, but functional. You never know BIS may patch the fake water one day so that it doesnt have all those odd bugs. But I do love taking a small boat for ride up a looong river :) Its nice / fun. Like on Sbrodj or Panthera But some people have put low briges in the way ;)
