smokelauncheronturret=false: not working

Hi all, I have searched for this and almost, but not quite, came up with an answer. I have a two man APC, so no commander, the gunner does the "commanding" from the MG turret. I have configed a smokelauncher and ammo which work OK but for two things. First the MG muzzleflash shows when firing the smokelauncher and secondly the smoke launches in the direction the MG is facing. Now, on my vehicle the smoke launchers are fixed to the front of the vehicle body, so the smoke should fire towards the front of the vehicle. I see there is a config entry smokelauncheronturret = true/false which appears to be tied in with the eventhandlers. Smokelauncher.sqf in the ca.pbo would seem to read this value from the config file and be able to do what I want but I can't get it to work. I get the sound of the smoke launcher firing but no particle effects. Anyone know how this works? I've yet to find an example config where smokelauncheronturret is set to anything other than true, that is they all have the launchers mounted on the turret. Trust me to want to model something that has an awkward weapons layout. I'll stop now. Help appreciated.

EDIT. Fixed now, just a matter of getting the eventhandler scripts right.

Sorry kju, I appreciate your reply, I really do, but am not entiretly sure what you mean. I am new to this posting business( i know according to the forum rules being new is not an excuse) but there you go. If you mean i have been a bit wordy and not made myself clear then I can live with that. So I will attempt a PROPER_ response:D. I have a working smokelauncher. The problem is it launches in the direction of the turret. I want it to launch in the direction of the vehicle body. Smokelauncher.sqf in ca.pbo would seem to do what I want but I can't get it to work. How do I call smokelauncher.sqf?
