Tv in/out support in video card...

Recommended Posts

I'm doing a project on school about computer gaming... I'm trying to get some campain footage of OFP... I plugged in my VCR to the cord that goes to my card, and set the control panel properties to TV, not PC.. this turned my desktop into a widescreen view... no problem.. I launch OFP and get Kozlowski arguing about the Jeep starting with a G... I thought cool... so after I was done I took the tape to my big screen TV... and rewinded, and played it... ALL BLANK!!! mad.gif

What whent wrong, do I need to have a TV attached to the vid card, to the VCR?? or what??

I have a 32 MB Radeon ATI Card with TV In/Out Support...

PLZ PLZ HELP!!!!!!!

To set it up I would assume it goes something like this:

Video out on video card > Cable to VCR > VCR Cable to TV

Now if it is hooked up correctly, you should be able to see whats on your computer, on ur tv.

Make sure your VCR tunes into the frequency that your computer is outputting, you simply cannot just plug the cable in and expect it to display.

*TV needs to be tuned into video

*Need to select a channel on VCR and tune it to your PC output.

*Need to make sure you are receiving properly before recording.

Regards,
