Can someone tell me the best settings for my HD5770 1gb card , as in Anti Aliasing and other settings = Performance to High Quality on the card to get the best out of the game.

As Fudgeblood said, better to figure out on your own. Every system seems to handle the game differently.

the "3D resolution" makes a huge difference on the visual quality of the game, but comes with a massive performance penalty.

Install the latest beta patch before you start tinkering with graphics settings IMHO

It will save you a world of pain in hunting down what is causing a problem :)

Beta patch ? so there is another patch after 1.04 ? could you point me to it as there are loads of patches out there ..

After installing the latest one (top of page), be sure to start the game with the Beta Patch shortcut which is in the root folder of your ArmA 2 installation. In other words: you can still play the game in 1.04 (with your regular shortcut) and in the beta patch version (with the beta shortcut).
