I think it is but just making sure :P Edited December 7, 2009 by Rellikki Posted images > 100kb
rellikki 7 Posted December 7, 2009 I can't see what you're talking about. Everything seems normal to me in those screenshots. What's this "head bug"?
pdchief 10 Posted December 7, 2009 Its like zoomed in from what it should be. Look at the shotgun in first person. You should see more of it but you only see the end of it. And in third person, instead of seeing the entire person you can only see over the right shoulder.
rellikki 7 Posted December 7, 2009 Weird, never heard of such an issue. Have you tried... pressing or double tapping your zoom out key (Default: Numpad minus)? There are controls in Arma 2 which lock the zoom like in your screenshots - By double tapping the zoom in key, the camera will be zoomed in like in your screenshots and by double tapping the zoom out key, the camera will go zoomed out. Check your controls and try those keys out, if you haven't already.
pdchief 10 Posted December 7, 2009 Just did that. It zooms out for 2 seconds then zooms back in. This is really pissing me off.... Really really pissing me off.
Inkompetent 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Have you tried resetting your keybinds to default? Looks like some messed up controller, be it keyboard or joystick or something.
ModeZt 0 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) Do you have any drivers from TrackIR of FreeTrack installed? Those devices can also control the zoom-in/zoom-out and may cause troubles if installed and not connected. BTW. Headbug is another story: you can only rotate your head, but not you body ( just like free-look after double-pressing Alt key, but not free-look ) I agree with Inkompetent. Just reset all your controls ingame. And if that does not help try deleting MyDocuments\Arma2 other profiles\%Profilename%\Name.arma2profile Edited December 7, 2009 by ModeZt

Avoidable 10 Posted December 8, 2009 Check your FOV settings in the ARMA2.cfg or "username".cfg in mydocuments\arma2. You can change that setting to increase or decrease the angle rendered which will be like affecting the level of zoom. Increase those numbers to zoom out, decrease to zoom in. If someone has access to the .cfg they can post the default x and y values (at work atm unfortunately).
