Flash Thunder 10 Posted December 6, 2009 Hello for the longest time now my friend has never been able to find my games over the internet. I would host a game of Team deathmatch give him the name and password and have him filter it. No its not selected on LAN, but yet when he clicks OK, theres no games on the server list even after refreshing, only Host New Session. :confused: This is getting really annoying, since I can only join him and we cant play any of the missions I made or edits. We both have patch 1.04 latest at all times and retail US copies and no mods that could possibly conflict with MP. Please help. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Herbal Influence 10 Posted December 6, 2009 Maybe there the same fault I seen in the German version (and it still exists in the betas.) If you hit "lock" server it gets open and vice versa. Simple wrong button description ... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Flash Thunder 10 Posted December 6, 2009 I'll try that out later, but for some reason this happens with a few other games aswell. Battlefield 2 also is strangely not allowing him to connect due to connection issues but I can connect to him just fine. We both live in the same state so we have always less than 50MS ping and I made sure his games werent being blocked by some anti virus firewall or settings. any other ideas? -RIP- Luhgnut 10 Posted December 6, 2009 sounds like your ports aren't open on your router. open these bad boys up. # port 2302 UDP ArmA2 game network communication. # port+1 2303 UDP Gamespy public server reporting. # port+3 2305 UDP Voice Over Net transmission. it's prolly 2303 is blocked most likely. You can also have him go straight to your IP address. goto http://www.ipchicken.com and if you're running, he should punch in that the link gives you.
