felix8 0 Posted November 27, 2009 What is wrong? I've edited the model, saved it, run arma and saw that model doesn't play anims. Then I just replaced model in characters.pbo with unmodified one from simple models and it does the same. Here is the screen to show what I am talking about. http://ffelix8.nxt.ru/stupidO2.JPG
Planck 1 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) If you open characters.pbo and replace models then pack it all up again then of course it won't work any more. The matching characters.pbo.bi.bisign will no longer be valid. Also if you used mlod models they will not be binarized and will then not have any model.cfg information baked into them. felix8 0 Posted November 27, 2009 Last time i modified a human model everything worked without binarizing. I used separated .pbo then. I need a model.cfg? How can I create it? Thanks
Planck 1 Posted November 28, 2009 The sample models released by BI for ArmA had model.cfg's included for reference. Planck
felix8 0 Posted November 28, 2009 Yes. Stupid me. Never seen thise configs before. And the last question: Whitch tool i need to binarize my model?
Planck 1 Posted November 28, 2009 The BI tools suite for ArmA can be set up to do all the work for you. It uses BinPBO, BinMake, Binarize, etc. Planck
felix8 0 Posted November 28, 2009 I downloaded it. So now I need to figure out how to use binarize tool...
Planck 1 Posted November 28, 2009 You use BinPBO, it calls Binarize all by itself. Planck
felix8 0 Posted November 28, 2009 What must be written in config.cpp? If it is simple us soldier.
