Mr Sarkey 0 Posted November 27, 2009 There I am, flying along the Sahrani coastline (using CAA1), I've been airborne for about 15 minutes real time; its a beatiful morning as I swoop low over the waves below me and then .... A black screen, maybe its crashed I thought, then the text popped up reading "Recieving...", sat like that for about 15secs then the game resumed where it left off. The strangest thing ever, haven't that happened before and wondering if anybody has had a similar experience. It was almost as if it was just loading up the next part of the map. Ofcourse I know thats not nessecessary, it was weird though.
paajtor 10 Posted November 27, 2009 Maybe it's time to defrag your harddrive....I use Defraggler. The 1st you run the program, it might take hours to complete - depending on the state of your data. But for Arma2, it's worth it imo. :D
Mr Sarkey 0 Posted November 28, 2009 Nope! I defrag atleast once a week using Auslogics Disk Defrag. But the plot thickens, I never thought this would happen. Today I was flying around Sahrani again. Guess what, I got the loading screen again, in exactly the same place! Marked on the map above is my position, I'm heading in the direction of the arrow. I'm at low altitude (5-10m) coming around that point ("Moto Grosso"). Tested again, went purposefully to that spot, copied conditions and it did it again.
