motorpyshco 10 Posted November 25, 2009 Don't know if I am in the right area or not, so please excuse me. I notice that there are several Add-on Launchers for Arma II. My questions are: 1) are these add-on launchers worth to install and easy to use (understand)? 2) will these add on the Add-on's and mods, or just Add-on's, or just the Mods? 3) What's the difference between the Addon Sync, Alpines Arma II Launcher and the Linebacker Arma II Launcher? 4) would you all perfer to install the Add-ons and Mods by the Modfolder method by Armaholic or the Launchers? Just wondering if there was an easy, fast and safe way to install Add-ons and Mods. Your opinons and expertise would be helpful. Thanks
Yoma 0 Posted November 25, 2009 (edited) AddonSync is a lot more then just a launcher. It can be used to actually download addons. More and more servers are seeing the benifits of this and using it as a means to spread their addon packs. It has a tiny learning curve, but I assure you you won't be looking back after using it. Of course my opinion is a bit biassed. Also if you have questions about the usage, you can always contact me. Whatever way you go: DO USE MODFOLDERS, DO NOT PUT ADDONS IN THE DEFAULT ADDONS FOLDER.
