justsomeguynia 10 Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) I got a new comp. And downloaded the demo. Dell xps 9000 Vista 64bit Intel I7 2.66 8Gb Ram 1.5tb Memory Gts 240 graphics card. No matter how low I turn everything I still get black trees and weird colored squares coming up from the ground. The shrubs on the ground are also square ish. Whats the deal? No details in the buildings etc etc... Ive been doing some reading is this a quirk with my 8gb? Is there a patch to fix this? And does it fix the demo? no use for a name 0 Posted November 16, 2009 yes it's related to 8GB RAM (there's probably a hundred threads talking about this). add -winxp to the end of the target line in your shortcut. The latest beta patches fix it for the full game; but the demo is still ver. 1.02 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
