Rafe 10 Posted November 9, 2009 I have unPBO the mission, placed it in \My Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\<ArmA2playername>\missions. For some reason I am unable to open the mission with the editor though. I did notice that a mission I was working on from scratch has a mission.sqf and a mission.biedi file. The mission I want to open has a mission.sqm I could use some help please.

[frl]myke 15 Posted November 9, 2009 If you have usually mission.sqf and mission biedi, you probably worked with the 3D editor. If a mission has a mission.sqm, they are from the 2D editor.
Rafe 10 Posted November 10, 2009 If you have usually mission.sqf and mission biedi, you probably worked with the 3D editor. If a mission has a mission.sqm, they are from the 2D editor. That is an incorrect statement. I have done a mission in 3d editor and 1 in 2d editor only and still I get mission.sqf and mission.bied What I need to know is what do I need to be able to edit a mission.sqm
[frl]myke 15 Posted November 10, 2009 Then your ArmA 2 is probably different from mine since i get mission.sqm files when saving user missions in 2D editor. To make it clear: 2D Editor is the one to be found at Singleplayer >> Editor while the 3D Editor is opened from main menu using ALT + E. While the 3D Editor also have 2D view, the 2D Editor doesn't have a 3D editor part. So coming back to your question: to work on missions with mission.sqm file you have to open the 2D editor.
