Tcgras.pbo

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to make a map using the tcgras.pbo. I have placed it in the addons directory but when i am using the mission editor, it will not show up in the "units" area. I have selected:

side: empty

class: object

When i go to units: i cannot find the tcgras.pbo. What am I doing wrong??

i donno what is this, but try this:

open the tcgras.pbo in some text editor, and search for words, which should describe the unit... maybe, if this is a soldier, with some new weapon, look for words like: lasersoldier... =) or donno what it is... (at the beginning, and at the end of the pbo-s text)

then if u find, go, and look for it in the units folder at the editor.

I've read somewhere in the addons section, about

the same thing. There i've seen at least one ingame name

of those grasses: "Unkraut"

note: "Unkraut" is a german word for weed/s, which noone

needs.

OK i found all (just needs a look into the pbo):

Gras Weizen /wheat

Gras Kentucky /guess what - yeah kentucky grass

Gras Gelb /yellow grass

Hasen Gras /rabitt grass

Gras lila /lilac grass

Unkraut1 /weed

Unkraut2 /weed

Unkraut3 /weed

am I supposed to use the pbo extrator and extract the tcgras file? If so, then what, save it to my addons file?

Thanks for clarifying that. I did just that. I went ahead and opened up the tcgras.pbo file with notepad and noticed that there was a lot of references to ver. 1.30. maybe it is not conpatalbe with ver. 1.46??

look in Addons + Mods forum

there are more explanations and a automatic grass script

this adds grass automatic where you are walking and saves performance
