Evil_sob 10 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) im not sure if a thread for this exsists, i could not find one anyway, but .... since applying the most recent patch (1.4), i cant join any servers. when i go the server listings, most servers appear as a red x, some servers still show. when i try to join a server, i get an error "connection failed". when i then go back to the servers listings, all of the red x's are now showing correctly with server names and ping and all details viewable, but i get the same connection error with every server i try to join. i also noticed that if i then refresh the list, my game version goes from version 1.45 to version 0.00 showing in red. single player is fine, saves load fine, game runs fine, better than it ever did. i can host online games, though i dont think im viewable on the listings, as no1 ever joined one of my games, and i dont think im that unpopular :j: any1 got any ideas? ps, im a pc technician by trade and ive checked everything at my end for system errors to see if theirs a problem, such as tcp/ip, dns, sync, firewalls, routers, etc etc etc, and i cant find any issues, and i could ofc play without any issues before applying this patch. Evil_sob 10 Posted October 24, 2009 i got to say, bohemia aint being to quick to respond to the email i sent them regarding this issue (email send same day as post was made). since i posted this, ive reinstalled game twice, and the issue persists, and still i havent even recieved an email from bohemia acknowledging that they recieved my query as to why arma 2 is now no longer working in multiplayer mode, let alone a possible fix. highly dissapointing. katdogfizzow 13 Posted November 1, 2009 Same issue with one of my freinds. He pretty saavy so has tried all the obvious fixes....blows. I wonder if it could have anything to do with his partitioned drives? Dunno, grasping at straws. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=86637
