I am making a scenario which involves the player is a civilian (a priest to be exact, it isn't a serious mission), and I need to make him on the BLUFOR side, and alone. The only way I know how to do this is have a squad leader who is on the BLUFOR side.

In order to have both of these, I made a squad leader for the player, and set his health to zero. When I tried playing, the squad leader was a corpse, who still had command of me, and was giving me orders, and still appeared as alive (well, in every way that doesn't involve looking at him).

Is there a way to make it so the squad leader is truly dead(without anything killing him), or just make my guy (the priest) on the BLUFOR side?

Thanks for the help, and understanding my lack of skill with scripting.

set his probablity of presence slider to 0, or use commands to set the priest as a captive or as a blufor 'this setascaptive true'.

Yeah I usually use the probability of presence, it works for making civillians attack me when grouped to OPFOR but I don't know how it will work when it's on your side.

Having a squad leader on a bluefor side tells the AI civilians to attack opfor..

It won't do anything to a player as he isn't AI. Doesn't affect the enemy they still see civ's.

What is the end result you are looking for? Player Priest that is enemy of Opfor? Or just friendly to Bluefor? by default civ's are friendly to everybody. The same as setcaptive true
