Patch has already been applied-NOT

I installed patch 1.04 and upon launching the game i received a message that patch 1.04 was out and i can't join any servers with 1.04 on it. When i try to download and install it from another mirror, it says that patch 1.04 has already been applied.I don't really want to do a full reinstall so i could use some help.

What number does it say down the bottom right of the screen on the main menu?

First makes sure that if you have a folder under arma 2 called "beta", delete that folder, then try install the 1.04 patch again.

well your game is still on patch 1.03.

make sure you didn't download the 1.04 'beta'

I didn't install any of the beta patches.

But anyways, I reinstalled the game and downloaded and installed the patch from armaholic,then i launched the game and i still can't join any 1.04 servers.It also still gave me the message about a new patch being available...

I have the German version so if that has anything to do with it.

This happens once in a while. Some people have had the same issue. I dont remember how to fix it... Remove ARMA.CFG etc? And then reapply the beta.

If you've installed a patch on a clean game install (i.e. 1,00), then enter the game and it says "1.03.58627", that means you've installed patch 1,03. There is no other explanation. I'd suggest downloading the 1,04 patch again from a different source and trying again.

That's just it, I can't install 1.04 again because it says that the patch has already been applied.
