Daweedxxx 10 Posted October 1, 2009 is there any way to get aircraft in Dogs of War? I've seen people on the forums mentioning that they were able to get choppers and whatnot but i can't seem to be able to build anything that flies. The AI commander already has one aircraft factory and i built another one, and then another and i still can't build shit! What do i have to do to get in the air??? jeffroland 10 Posted October 1, 2009 Patience grasshopper. I was not able to build aircraft in the beginning of DoW either. But, later on in the mission... 1. The Marines land and you are given command of several units, including 3 choppers. You can't pilot them but you can use them for transport and order them through the command menu. 2. At some point I was able to build my own chopper at the CDF base. I'm not sure what triggered this but it worked, whereas it did not earlier in the mission.
