missions not showing up

i can add 3rd party missions to the missions folder no problem, they can be played in game. howevr i have tried to add a downloaded campaign and no matter where i put it, it will not show up in the game. i read that if you create a campaign folder it will work but it doesnt. i have absolutly no idea where the red harvest campaign is stored because i cant see it in any of the folders.

Go to your main ArmA II directory, which is by default:

C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

Inside there, you should see folders named AddOns, Missions, Dta, Keys and MPMissions. Create a new folder inside here called Campaigns. Place the usermade campaign .pbo file into this new folder. It should now work.

u create campaign or campaigns folder?, cause it's the second one the name u should use.

im using vista i created the folder in the missions folder which is in the main arma 2 directory, so i will try that and will be back with the result. thanks

That won't work. At least, not properly.

Just create the folder in your ArmA II directory and place it in there. Like so:

You're supposed to create the Campaigns folder in the root ARMA 2 directory, not into the Missions folder.
