Sumrak 6 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) FIXED Hi, i have big problem with some objects on my island. In ArmA 1 was all OK, since ArmA II, i located, after first try of my mod, main 2 issues with some objects. Problematic objects are absolutelly fine in Visitor and Oxygen (= in buldozer works these objects fine). But, if i test ingame, it is horrible - as i said, i located main 2 issues 1) ArmA II have problems with resLODs in my 2 models First my model of church, there are white flashes and if i look on detail of these flashes, whole screen blinking and after moment CTD. Here is some examples: Church in Oxygen - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_kos.jpg Church in Visitor - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_vis_kos.jpg Church ingame - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_kos_in1.jpg and http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_kos_in2.jpg Weird thing is, that in ArmA2.rpt is only 1 note about this model - SW keep height animation used for nst\ns\build\ves\kostelik_final_2122.p3d - no warnings/repots during flashes.. Otherwise, geometry, memory lods work fine, i can enter "invisible" building and i can use ladder.. Second model is big building without roof.. Detailed resolution lod not work, ArmA2 reports "Vertex Buffer too small (23276<16384)" (a lot lines of this error).. geometry again fine. Building in Oxygen - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_bez.jpg Building in Visitor - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_vis_jzd.jpg Building ingame - http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_jzd_in_2.jpg and low poly lod http://download.nightstalkers.cz/arma2/i_jzd_in_far.jpg 2) Weird model mapping This bug is frequently, mapping is fine in buldozer (o2 or Visitor), in game is horrible - it seems, that ArmA II select 1 texture, used by model, and with this texture map by uv whole model.. EDIT: I located, that all buggy models have same warning in ArmA2.rpt like this SW keep height animation used for nst\ns\misc\kont\kont3.p3d FIXED Anyone know, where is problem? Thanks, Sumrak. Sumrak 6 Posted September 21, 2009 Ok, i found problem of all models, which was buggy. The "SW keep height.." was good way, i found, that models have on some parts vertex option "Keep height (fence)", i select whole model, in vertex options select "Normal", tried ingame, everything is OK, model looks fine and work on 200% :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
