boeing314 10 Posted September 19, 2009 Hey folks, Not sure how many of you have this issue, but i've been playing ArmA for about 2 years now on various systems and they've all seem to have shared one thing in common: CTDs. Version: ArmA Gold (Publisher Atari) 1.14 SYSTEM: I'm now on a new system (Asus G71GX-RX05) with the following specs: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 @ 2.53Ghz clock. Memory: 6GB PC2-6400 GPU: Nvidia GTX260M 1GB GDDR3 OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit System is completely stock so far. BIOS, hardware, and all other components are up to date. PROBLEM: As of late, my friends and I have been playing a lot of Warfare with my friends. Specifically, WACOs ACE version of Warfare. The amount of time varies, but I seem to be able to play anywhere from 10 minutes to 40 minutes without crashing. But it is always inevitable. I've noticed that whenever a pilot is shot out of a helicopter by a friendly, that seemed to be a consistant crasher. Other than that, I'm stumped and I'm looking for solutions to improve gameplay for both myself, and my friends ( who are also experiencing crashes, although generally less frequently). Thanks, Joseph
Evil_Echo 11 Posted September 20, 2009 Have you looked at zWarfare? The author works with the ACE people, should be fully ACE compatible. Also, are you using the maxmem setting and recent nvidia drivers?
Gunter Severloh 4051 Posted September 22, 2009 looks like vista64 is your issue, according to your specs, cuz i have windows xp and ace and 1.14, and i dont get any problems. u should really do a search first before posting, but i bet its vista64.
