Alex72 1 Posted September 20, 2009 I guess it's patch 1.04 yes? Hmm this happened to a friend of mine and he managed to fix it. I dont know if he removed the config files... Im not sure so dont do that just yet. Download the 1.4 patch (again - maybe the one you have was messed up) and then unpack it (with 7z(ip) or WinRAR) then double click it. It should unpack first and then ask you to update - click YES/OK. Then wait for it to install and check in the game again. I will try to remember what my friend did to fix this. corndizz 10 Posted September 20, 2009 no, i havent even downloaded patch 1.04, ive downloaded 1.02 and 1.03 but the game still says version 1.01.1.........., i cant get them to come into effect, and i cant play multiplayer because of it, well i can but no one plays on my version, i put the files into the arma 2 file, didnt work, reinstalled the game and redownloaded the patches, dint work, i dont know wat to do???? Alex72 1 Posted September 20, 2009 Ofcourse you cant. You need latest patch. Download 1.4 and apply it over the version you have. People download and play the latest patches and if you have the previous you will not be able to go online. EDIT: "I put the files into arma files"?? No mate. You dont put the files anywhere. You update from your desktop. Dont move them to your arma2 directory. Im guessing you messed about a bit too much now. Maybe need to clean the ARMA2 install totally and directly after reinstallation - apply patch 1.04. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
