-RIP- Luhgnut 10 Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) And some of us (Basically every OFP/ArmA1 player) are used to being able to shoot with the menu open, liked that and want to continue doing that. Yeah, I don't see the problem. What I'm trying to point out, is that there are many more important things to work on than learning how to shoot and manage a menu. If the menu is open and I need to do something else, I just right mouse and it drops the menu and I carry on. Also, this isn't a BUG this is a Feature Request. The title says IMPORTANT BUG. I fail to see any importance to this at all. I've been playing since OFP and Arma1 that has this same thing, and really it's nothing more than a minor annoyance unless you get in the habit of doing what you're trying to do. Question, have you posted this on the BIS bug tracking site and have people vote on it? I think you'll be very surprise how little attention it gets compared to the other IMPORTANT bugs that are out there. Of all the hours and hours of playing everything from OFP -> Arma2, I think I've done this IMPORTANT bug maybe twice? (This is meant for the OP not you Nem...) Actually I just checked the tracking forum. There is something similar but not quite the same. It's more in regard to the mouse wheel getting hit and opening a menu. So this will never see the light of day until it's posted there. Edited September 23, 2009 by [RIP] Luhgnut

Seriously, the middle mouse button has been 'select menu option' since 2001, why would they suddenly make another button do the exact same thing while we already need that button for something else? Its just inconvenient and there is no way to turn it off.
