Xam+ace?

Hi,

For my project (Topic: General/Looking for...), I'm using XAM (for the sounds).

But I'd like to install ACE too.

So can I put XAM AND ACE?

To my better knowledge (without having ever tried such a thing), that would be difficult. Both mods have extensive scripting going on in the background, which might mess up the stability of your game.

I will give ya 1:3 odds of it working.

You should use A.C.E. with Vopsound 1.9 (best soundmod imo)

Using XAM just for sounds is a bit heavy. Maybe both mods try to change same configs what may let your game or the server youre playing on crash.

XAM and ACE are not compatible to each other, especially since XAM is not XEH compatible...

They both have their strong points where ACE has good NVG options XAM has good TI modelling. But overall ACE has more features IMO if both were combined it would be the ultimate mod for Arma. Ideally it would be good if the XAM guys worked with Ace to produce a stable patch placing XAMs features in Arma with acemod..
