Supah 0 Posted March 26, 2002 I saw that one yesterday. I think the building inspector will have something to say about those topfloor doors with no fence in front of them. Too bad its just allot of other buildings stacked one on top of the other.
Intruder 0 Posted March 26, 2002 Hmmm, looks like department stores. AK-47's 'R us
Buzzz90 0 Posted March 26, 2002 Everyone can do that. The only trick is to set the vertical position in initialisation field What we need, is real new buildings One more try....
Intruder 0 Posted March 26, 2002 Yeah, I use vertical position adjusting to make bigger sandbag defences for tanks and infantry. Hmm, maybe I should make a sandbag castle

Intruder 0 Posted March 28, 2002 Sorry lads, must have got rid of it. Besides, it caused major lag, and I mean major (on a P3 800). It's simple to do, just type this into the init field of the object: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> this setpos [(getpos this select 0), (getpos this select 1), (getpos this select 2)+n] <span id='postcolor'> Just replace the n with the height in meters, and copy an paste. Now lets have a sandbad castle building competition
SpetsnazWarriorX 0 Posted March 28, 2002 I'm a complete newbie to this initialization thing and triggers and the lot. So would ya pleez tell me EXACTLY how to do that? Like, what dya DO with the init? I've got one car floating in mid-air, and now what?
the nothing 0 Posted March 28, 2002 Well... look at intruder's post. He's got it right there. I'll just put it up again for good measure: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">this setpos [(getpos this select 0), (getpos this select 1), (getpos this select 2)+n]<span id='postcolor'>

I've got one car floating in mid-air, and now what?<span id='postcolor'> Once you got one car in mid air, place it ontop of another car on the ground, and keep placing cars ontop of each other by changing the height. The more you have the more lag you get. The pyramid I made only had one soldier (me) in the entire map. You may one use the desert map. But making pyramids is pretty much useless. Most folks usually use this technique to make bunkers and stuff.
Relg 0 Posted March 29, 2002 you could probably get some pretty neat looking bunkers that way
