S-M 10 Posted August 29, 2009 I might have missed an option somewhere, but i find playing the night vision ones in co-op a bit of a nightmare when you don't know where everybody is? Nearly did a spot of TK last night on the kelly`s hero's server when one of our guys popped up and ran past in front of me, for a brief moment when i zoomed in it showed me that he was on our team so i aborted the trigger pull :D I had no idea he was even around and thought there was only 2 of us at the time. Halli~SPARTA~ 0 Posted August 29, 2009 Not sure but I guess you could Hold down Space bar for Tag or make sure you are in same squad by using Middle mouse to show status to team settings and join squad. Of course If KH has server set above Regular then no way to tell but look.

l mandrake 9 Posted August 31, 2009 Hopefully ACE mod will give us IR beacons again - you'll see a flashing light on teamates when looking through NVG's, very useful!
walker 0 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Hi all Already available via script in many missions check Zaphod's berzerk. Many other missions have on map markers that follow, groups and individuals in your group. Lots of ways to do it; it is even available in default ArmA a display adjustment and set by default in lower skill levels. Learn all the parts of the uniforms of the different forces, boots, belts webbing, guns, water bottles, how the trousers tuck in? etc. As to diferentiating friendlies in the field; it happens in reality. That is why you hear officers insiting on people holding their position in the line. Any one in front of your line is OPFOR you can shoot them; if it is one of your guys, oh dear, how sad, never mind. Guess that will teach them not to be Rambo, but we can give them a meddle so that will make it all better. Serious, position in the line is how you can tell friend from foe. If you are unsure do not shoot just keep a beed on them and ask over comms. Ask all to bob up and down. Other ways: officers says all lie down any one who is stood up can be shot. Kind Regards walker Edited August 31, 2009 by walker
