scario 0 Posted March 22, 2002 How do i get into the generals house in the mission Incursion? I can easily manage to get to some of the bushes near the house, but how the fuck can i get into it? There's a mass of soldiers walking and crawling around it, and a big f*cking lamp who light up the whole place. As i have understand it you only can get into the house trought the door at the frontside, but the most of the soldiers are standing there, so if i dont kill everyone out there i cant get in, and the problem with that shit are that i'll never be able to kill so many enemies. I have checked Bharathmas walktrough, but it just tell me; "Wait for the right moment and then get in to the house". Then the problem is; it is no "right moment", please, HELP ME! Guest Titanium Posted March 22, 2002 When you start, go south to the coast. Then Head west till you reach the fence. STAY NEAR THE WATER. YOu can run around the fence if you go into the water a little. After you get past the fence, keep going west till you get near his house. Head up the hill, and hide in the bushes. Get as close as you can. Now heres my added bonus: Set your satchel packs right there. After they are set, stand up and haul ass into the house. The alarm will probably sound. But heres what you do. Make sure you are not near a doorway. Blow your stachel packs. Now that takes care of the infantry there. Run out of the house, down to the coast. And run back to the fence, go around as you did before, Then just run to wherever you need to get out of the mission. And remember, as long as you are by the coast, No enemies will see you. advocatexxx 0 Posted March 22, 2002 Simple. Lay down on the ground, and move in that position directly towards the house. Don't fire a shot and don't get up, and I assure you, you will not be spotted even if a Russian soldier walks 12 inches next to you. Just don't get yourself run over by a tank. Useful hint is to increase game time to 4X.
Guest Titanium Posted March 23, 2002 Increasing the game time 4X is pretty pointless. Only if you have to move from one area to another area very far away. Everything happens the same, you dont just move faster the enemies do too. Its the exact same thing, just faster. Uless you mean when you are running from the start to his house and back, to save some time then increase speed.
scario 0 Posted March 24, 2002 Yeah, I know, but its pretty boring to crawl some hundred meters in turtle-speed, so then its good to increase. Ok, by know i have managed to get into the house, and one time i managed to get back, nearly...When i were at the fence, and just should swim around it, I saw a soldier. Ok, lets shoot him. What i dont thought about were that i just had one bullet left in the current mag, i fired it, and then *klick* FUCK! When i was reloading the soldier detected me and gave me som metal in my little head.... Â
Random 0 Posted March 24, 2002 If you increase time 4X, you can run through the back wall of the house. Clipping problems can be good.
USSoldier11B 0 Posted March 27, 2002 Several times I have managed to kill almost EVERYTHING around the house. Cross the fence by the coast (not through the gate) you can sneak up on the house from there, avoid the patroling BMP, you will get a feel for it's route very quickly. Hide in the bushes and start picking off troops. For some reason they have a really hard time finding you. Keep moving and hide in bushes next to house. Keep pickin off the infantry. Soon a T-72 will come to investigate. Usually he will park right next to you. Plant a satchel charge and move around the corner of the house so you don't die from the blast, and blow him up. Do the same with the second BMP that comes to look for you. With a little patience you will soon find that there isn't shit around except for the patroling BMP. All you have to do is go in the front door and you will have the documents, it doesn't involve any searching. Avoid the patroling BMP and go out the way you came in. Also, I noticed a base really close that has a bunch of empty helicopters in it. Can you steal one and take everything out first? I think i'm gonna try it. scario 0 Posted March 27, 2002 In that Walktrought you get with Red Hammer Gold, they say that you should be able to take a Shilka in the base East of the house, if you first kill the crew... By now i'm trought this mission, and have problems with "Search and Destroy", but i'll test Incursion again and try try to steal that Shilka!
Gorgi Knootewoot 0 Posted March 27, 2002 I was behind the house. I walked to the front to enter the house, and was scared shitless when i saw all the soldiers. I quickly entered the house and ran up the stairs. Then the game updated my retry position. That wasn't nice, because i was in big danger now. I managed after a few tries to get on the back of the house, and ran all the way to the sea. Then i ran along the coast and into the woods to the pickup point. OldGrandad 0 Posted March 28, 2002 What you need to do is arm yourself with a M21 at the start. From the top of the hill pick off patrols, then snipe the Shilka and chopper crews. Quite easy really. I then crawled around the perimeter and once inside the compound I saved. From here you can take either option, Shilka or chopper. With the Shilka you can eliminate everything that moves from within the compound. I tried with the chopper but due to a bug as soon as I flew over the house it said that the objective had been accomplished!! Somehow you pick up the papers by flying over the house
USSoldier11B 0 Posted March 28, 2002 I think that happens because it's just an area trigger that you have to pass into to complete the objectives. I'll have to try that. I'm a collateral damage and high body count kinda guy.
