Ikonboard notifications

Howdy all. I didn't know where to post/send this question. Anyway, here goes:

When subscribing to a thread here at the forum, is it possible for the notification e-mail messages that I receive to include the thread title/topic?

When receiving a bunch it would help to remove duplicates, or determine if I'm missing out on a hot topic versus something I'll get back to later on.

Just visit regularly.

- If everybody would use this feature, the mail server would go nuts. Which isn't very good for the performance.

- There is no duplicate. Everytime somebody replies to a topic, you subscribed to, the board will send you an email.

Interesting point about the mail server. I would think though that if they did not want to have us use the feature it would be disabled.

I don't expect the forum to do anything in terms of duplicate messges. If I get sent 10 messages about the same busy thread, it'd be nice to know the thread topic in the title of the message so that I didn't have to open every one in my mail software to realise they're all for the same thread. That's all.  

Placebo, is this really troubleshooting? My OFP installation is perfect!

LOL well I tend to put any kind of troubleshooting question in here, this is the place where the tech heads hang out so seems the best place to put them

To have the thread title in the subject line, you would need to rewrite the ikonboard cgi.
