Easy module problems. Embarrased.

I'm using Ambient Civilian and Ambient Vehicle...

What i need is alot more life in the cities. I have tried reading the notes and so on from the wiki, but i cant seem to see how the math formulas work. (tried changing some values, nothing happened)

I need more life, when i am driving around i can maybe see like 1 civilian at times, but only every 30 mins or something.

Can someone give me a working code that will spawn more civ life?

Also, is it possible to make the civilians able to drive around?

I don't know the codes or scripting but it is possible to do the things your asking. Hopefully someone will give you a link or something. It is odd that your only seeing one civilian at a time though. I've used the ambient civilian module before and had entire towns populated and all I did was create the module and synchronize it the player.

Afaik you don't need to synch these modules at all, and you can increase the number of civilians per town if you'd take a look at the wiki page.

I did, but as i already stated i dont know how to work with the math formulas, so if someone has a code that i can steal that would be nice.

And i haven't synced it, just put it in and drove around.

Pretty sure there's a still a problem with these modules where EACH JIP player spawns his own set of ambient whatevers.

That's how on one map we ended up securing an airfield completely covered in chickens. :)

1. Create Map

2. Place player as BLUFOR

3. If Chernarus or Utes place Ambient Civilians (ALICE) & Ambient Civilian Vehicles (SILVIE)

4. If Takistan or Zargabad place Ambient Civilians Expansion (ALICE2) & Ambient Civilian Vehicles (SILVIE)

5. Do Not synchronise or group these modules with anything.

6. Double click on the ALICE module and insert the following text:

this setvariable ["spawnDistance",1000]; this setvariable ["civilianCount","round (2 * (sqrt %1))" ];

Save mission. Play mission.
