wazandy 10 Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) Downloaded it three times now, from two different places. My default folder for Arma2 is not on C, it's on an E drive - but that shouldn't stop a patch... Because I'm getting this: 'Arma2 is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupted.' Got it. Had changed my folder to 'crysis64' (like most of us did.) BigRed 2 Posted August 8, 2009 If you named your exe to something different you have rename it to ArmA2 before the patch will apply.

manzilla 1 Posted August 8, 2009 Shahin, You had to create an ArmA 2 folder? My installation created the folders and structure for me. Also what exactly are you dragging and which folder and location do you drag it to? I've read people talking about dragging their patch files but when I installed the patch everything was taken care of for me. I just start the patch application and it overwrote/installed all the files automatically.

Steakslim 1 Posted August 8, 2009 Shahin, just to be sure we're clear on this. When you say "after I run it" we are to assume you are running the patch itself, and not trying to run ArmA2 thinking just moving the patch file into the ArmA2 directory will automatically patch the game itself did you? Yeah I know the whole thing sounds silly, but I just want to make sure as your english punctuation makes your posts just a little bit flakey.
BigRed 2 Posted August 8, 2009 in your directory you have C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 in that folder you have a .exe file called arma2 mine is 16,460 kb I named it crysis for patch 1.02 therefore the 1.03 didn't reconize the install so when I renamed it arma2 it reconized the install. Not sure how else to explain it. Sorry...

Steakslim 1 Posted August 9, 2009 Shahin, was there any issues with your disc when you originally installed ArmA2?

Duck4coveR 10 Posted August 9, 2009 I have same problem. Cant install the patch due to my files not being in there defult location???? tried moving the patch file to same drive.. no good made sure files are correctly named.. no good tried removing all mods.. no good tried moving the bohemia folder to default location.. no good CD is original !! So do i waste one of my limited installs putting the game in the default location?? But correct me if im wrong but dont games run better when there not installed on the C drive!! you would think there would be an option for a manual search option in the patch but i guess thats to much to hope for these days. If its not an option in the next patch this game is going back! cause aint wasting time trying to get something to work.. i just want it to work! Grrrrr :)
