How many missions does Arma 2 have?

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I love ArmA 2 but I'm afraid its SP campaign it's too short. My question is:

how many missions does ArmA 2 have? Is maybe the last one "Dogs of War"?

I hope the answer is "no"

Bye =)

There is one ending circumstance in which you get to play the last scene. It's called "Setting Sail" and it is the mission that you get if you fail Dogs of War, but are close to the shore (don't know the exact circumstances that trigger it, might be based on who you took sides with, NAPA or CDF). Anyway, you have to get to the shore and steal a boat (without dying) and make it to your ship. You are alive if you do this, but the mission is still considered a failure. All other possible endings are cutscenes for all intents and purposes.

Ah, ok. Very interesting. I did unite NAPA & CDF and also finded enough evidence to convince russians to withdraw.

I think that i'll play this campaign again after couple of more patches (maybe 1.05) and try to be a "bad guy". I'll kill every civilian i encounter, don't give a rat's ass to evidence, kick Thomas Marny's ass and also be very hostile towards every CDF soldier. It will be interesting to see how much BIS has actually changed the missions based on play style. :D

Though i have my doubts it won't be that much different...

I did play it as a snitch (reporting the ammo stash) and the good guy, (not reporting the stash in Manhattan). That makes Bitter Chill play out differently. By reporting the stash, NAPA won't help you get off the island, but you can take the hummer and drive to the Noby Sobor area, which is actually faster than hitching a ride with NAPA if you had played it the other way. If you snitch it's a no brainer that you have to try to make it to the CDF base (although I should try to go to NAPA, after having snitched just to see what happens sometime.
