trooper117 10 Posted August 4, 2009 (edited) Hey guys.. has anyone looked into the deployment of airborne forces using the standard military parachute types..ie, round, with a rotatable not steerable chute? Having jumped for many years using the standard chute, (C130, Chinook, Ch53, Huey, Skyvan, Transall etc) It would be good to see them ingame, as the vast majority of all major airborne ops use the normal round jobs.. My apologies if this has already been covered but I haven't got several hours to check all the forum..:D If anyone has a link to an existing mod anywhere it would be appreciated.. It is also difficult and obnoxious to read such posts. This also applies to posting all in bold or all in a certain font colour just to try to make your words stand out, if your point is interesting enough or well written enough it will stand out. trickster1982 10 Posted August 4, 2009 Someone converted some old flashpoint missions over to ArmA 2, & in the one called "battlefields" I'm pretty sure when your counter attacked a load of guys jump out of a helicopter on round chutes, so they are in there! Speaking of chutes,I did my first skydive from 15,000ft at the weekend,the most intense & awesome thing I've ever done :cool: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

frederf 0 Posted August 4, 2009 Yeah I was disappointed with the round chutes in ArmA2. They're the cargo type and I think you either can't get in them or you're invisible when you're in them. I'm still praying that someday we get some proper parachutes for people, say square steerable, round steerable, round static, and a special kind for ejection seats. Oh and you should have to carry it in inventory. Assuming everyone on the UH-60 has a 'chute is so BF2. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
