Edit existing map?

So I just entered an evolution server, and I wanted to host my own. I checked my mpmissions folder, and i found the folder for it. However, the evolution folder is empty...

Where can I find it? wanted to make some slight changes for my clans personnel use of the rank structure but I cant change it if I cant find the folder...

The map you played will be a PBO in the following folder by default:

C:\Documents and Settings\<windowsusername>\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2\MPMissionsCache

Copy that file out and unPBO it with your favorite PBO tool, then move the folder it creates to your missions editor folder, by default:

\My Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\<ArmA2playername>\missions

Then you can edit it in the Editor. When you're done just Save -> Export to Multiplayer missions and it'll will have created a PBO in your ArmA2\MPMissions folder you can host yourself.

new question.... I wanted to make it so that it allows addons again.. anyone know how to disable the disable addon feature? My clan uses a couple of sound mods we wanted to use in our private A2 server...

Well, the map itself can only require Addons, not disable them.

Try looking here to see how to enable addon use, I think it's signature checking you want to disable.

I'm having a similar issue. I cannot edit maps I have already made. There just inst an 'edit' button

If you had the source files of the map you already made, you would be able to edit it. Your post makes me doubt you have tried to edit a map you have 'already made'. Please do not necropost unless you have something significant to add.

Do not spam. If you see someone breaking the rules, please report it. At the very least, refrain from using trollish image macros. Next time a post like this will accompany an administrative warning.
