Tinker 10 Posted July 30, 2009 http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p292/9MS-Admin/boobie.jpg 1 last little issue, :o but no biggie, can go without. All missions functioning at last correct. 1: Officer starts 2: Runs into barracks at start 3: Triiger to make him escape after x deaths 4: Jump in car 5: Move to airfield #4 does not work, he completely ignores the waypoint and runs to airport. Not a big issue, mission still fails when he gets there, but would like him to be faster and use car, to make players advance to compound more before opening fire. Have tried synching him, but nothing seems to work. Read a few topics, GET IN waypoint seems to be correct.

kylania 568 Posted July 30, 2009 Here's a demo mission for you which shows how to do what you want using just triggers/waypoints. Basically you'll synchronize a Switch Trigger with the MOVE waypoint in the building. The Switch will have the Condition for how many casualties you wanted first. Then double click the GET IN Waypoint onto the vehicle to tie it to the empty vehicle and he'll continue on. Basically the only problem you had was the GET IN wasn't placed correctly. Tinker 10 Posted July 30, 2009 :D Kylania, thnx for the demo, I can see what you have done, just not sure about the switch command. Not much on it in the wiki. Switch - A switch trigger is very useful for "breaking" a group out of a Cycle waypoint loop, or moving the group away from a Hold or Guard waypoint. When the trigger is synchronized with a waypoint, activating the trigger will instantly change the group's current waypoint to the first waypoint after the synchronized one. Note the synchronized waypoint's On Activation block is not executed.
kylania 568 Posted July 30, 2009 Basically the General dude won't complete the first MOVE waypoint till the switch trigger activates, in this case when the group of 4 bad guys losses one bad guy. Quite similar to a HOLD waypoint.
