How to make teammate change his weapon

My MG operator picked up RPG-7 on my order, I realised he left his Mk 48 by doing so so I ordered him to swap back. Now he has his Mk 48 on his back and he's equipped with the pistol. How to make him change back to main weapon? Replacing Mk 48 with AK-74 didnt work.

Have that problem a lot in soem missions like Seize the Zones by Kamenyy.

My soldiers just pull their pistols and kneel and refuse to follow me, only thing i found that worked was to shoot them and heal so they auto switch to their main weapon afterwards.

Best is to just not issue the AI any Pistols.

Um.. he switched to Mk 48 on his own when engaging hostile. Kk, solved.

first thing I do in most missions is almost always make AI drop their pistols. they never use them; but if they do they always run with them instead of their primary weapon.
