Black Op 0 Posted March 16, 2002 looks promising how come vietnam games are always special forces soldiers would be nice for a game to be based on regular soldiers for a change
Die Alive 0 Posted March 16, 2002 There is one game that just came out, called Squad Battles: Vietnam. Â It's not a FPS or anything, but a turn-based hex tactical combat game. Â Look at this review on Squad Battles: Vietnam Seal Team was the greatest, call in air stikes, PBRs, capture PoWs, it had it all in a game. -=Die Alive=-
Akira 0 Posted March 16, 2002 http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories/news/0,10870,2855195,00.html Looks to be an interesting game. We'll have to see though.

nordin dk 0 Posted March 17, 2002 I just saw "Apocalypse Now Redux" Man, what a movie. They should really base a game on that. "I want some room to breathe. Bomb that treeline back about 100 yards will ya?"

I remember playing that for days on end without sleep... usually, after the 22nd or 23rd consecutive hour of playing I stopped playing very well. It kicked though, I loved calling in Airstrikes, or completing a Snatch and Grab while Iroqois gunships hovered overhead. I think I've still got that somewhere... I might go and replay it. Tex -USMC- 0 Posted March 18, 2002 YES! That scene in Apocalypse Now where the General wants a bigger beach so he tells them to carpet bomb the treeline backa bit. One of the better scenes in the whole movie

foxer 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Seal team was a great game.I don't think it's warez anymore if they don't sell it.Soo Tell us.
Damage Inc 0 Posted March 18, 2002 It's warez and I won't tell you because you all know what happened to Ruskie.
foxer 0 Posted March 18, 2002 It can't be warez if i can't go to an store and buy it.Plus the game is almost 10 years old.Copyright only lasts for 10 years ? I don't think they would care(the game company) if they don't make it anymore.
Damage Inc 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Copyright lasts for about 100 years or something.
Die Alive 0 Posted March 18, 2002 I own the 3.5" disks of the game, but my disk drive died so I can't install it... I don't think the copywrite on software is only 10 years, and the game came out in 1993 or 1994, so it's not ten years yet. By the way, does anyone remember a game called NAM? It was made with the Duke Nukem 3D engine and looked really crappy. I think it came out in 1997 or 98, but wasn't any better than Black Op. -=Die Alive=-
foxer 0 Posted March 18, 2002 Blah, your right copyrights last for 95 years. But if they don't sell it anymore ,why should they be upset ? their not losing any money.
Damage Inc 0 Posted March 18, 2002 I couldn't even think of having no disk drive in my computer.
