barbary 0 Posted March 15, 2002 I went down to the local games store yesterday and on there shelf was a new expansion pack for OFP. It's called Between The Lines and is made by XMP. It's an unoffical expansion pack. I keep fairly upto date with OFP stuff but I haven't seen this mentioned on any OFP website or on this forum. It actualy has three seperate campains on it. Has everybody else heard about this and this is just me living in my own litttle world??
Hilandor 1 Posted March 15, 2002 yeah, i seen it in the shops too learned it was an unofficial addon so got redhammer instead, but thats as much as i know, i think its been out a while now tho
theavonlady 2 Posted March 15, 2002 It's been on The FAQ even before it was available for sale. Just search for "between the lines".
FallenPaladin 0 Posted March 15, 2002 I wouldn`t buy it. In every game magazine here in Germany they wrote that this "Between the lines"-addon is crap. Got very bad ratings, because it mostly consists of loose missions. We have to keep waiting for other official missions Because these are normally the best. I would like to add that although the expasion pack has it's faults I would say it was worth the 15 quid I paid for it. Although I think a new patch fixing some of the more obvious typo's and breifing mistakes is in order. Very surprised that they wearn't fixed in the first patch. My fav being when you complete one objective you are given the message "test test test"

The main campaign "Between The Lines" has a strong story line. Gets you very involved. Where as the other two campaings are more action and less story. FallenPaladin 0 Posted March 15, 2002 Sorry, my mistake. My magazines gave only a few lines of description and ratings around 35%. They didn`t mention a whole campaign, so I thought of it as a kind of mission pack. But keep informing us about this addon. Maybe that prevents us from more mistakes like mine. slaps himself

Tales_From_Topographic_Oceans 0 Posted March 15, 2002 This is off the subject but I did not want to post a new thread. I have a friend who is interested in OPFP. I am downloading the Single-Player Demo. First of all, it was an absolute pain in the rear end to download this demo. I had to effing register with Gamespy and had to maneuver through all sorts of advertisement crap and casino windows. I threw a chair across the room. Does anyone know what mission is in the Demo? Tales_From_Topographic_Oceans 0 Posted March 15, 2002 Abort mission. I just unzipped the file and read the "Readme.txt" file, and it tells me what I need.
walker 0 Posted March 16, 2002 I have been playing it Cost me 10 UK pounds Games are ok but not up to BIS Production standards But for the price it is cheaper than downloading over the internet on a 56k modem What has more bandwidth A 5 mbit optical cable backbone into a national gateway or A truckload of CDs doing 60mph down the motorway
Major Fubar 0 Posted March 17, 2002 Does anyone know if it's possible within the structure of the game to do a true co-op campaign, like one that follows the same squad through a whole campaign? If so, I think it would be awesome...
LordZach 0 Posted March 17, 2002 if there was a way to carry deaths on into the next mission maybe.
