MehMan 0 Posted July 16, 2009 I'm not sure if I saw it right, but I shot the AI just as it started to get up and shot about 10 rounds into it as it was getting up, it then stood up and died. and this happened a couple of times. It might be that the AI took a few more shots to kill it or the animations are still set in stone and the loop has to be completed before it switches to the death anim. or am I wrong? sickboy 13 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Sounds more like a bug in the Alternative Injury System, was this enabled in your test? Re animations and interrupting them; afaik there are animations that you can interrupt and animations that you cant (depending on a config property). One of the issues is that certain animations or commands require the unit to finish his animation, or to go through a list of other animations before finally ending up in the wanted animation :) I think the means are there to provide proper transitioning in all cases, but that the implementation or configuration of the animations / scripted systems has a bug. EDcase 87 Posted July 16, 2009 Yes, current anim must finish before death anim starts.
