AH1, destroy tanks from a distance

I want 2 AI AH1s to destroy 2 T72s. The AH1 have missiles they can shoot from far away and destroy the tanks but in-game they HAVE to fly right over the tanks and often gets shot down. Is it possible to make the AH1's fire the missiles from a distance instead?

Try to use reveal on the tanks for the AI choppers.
