How to make a plane bomb an enemy tank?

I can't get this to work, maybe because I'm totally new to this. But I want a plane to make a flyby and bomb an enemy tank. I've set an enemy tank on the map, a friendly plane and made an either "destroy" or "seek and destroy" waypoint on top of the tank but my plane just flyes right by and won't bomb it. With "seek and destroy" it flyes around but never seems to bomb the tank. How do I get about this?

Which type of plane are you using? If it's one with only LGBs then it won't drop the bombs without a laser target.

Would it then be possible to have a plane drop a bomb on a group of infantry?
