Using Sky pack using windows vista

I been trying to install llaumax sky pack on ofp but i cant it still shows the old sky i need help on wat to do to get the sky plz help

Im not sure about vista, but in xp the installer should just take your operationflashpoint\res\dta\hwtl folder and modify it. Make sure you have turned on HWTL in the preferences/options of ofp.

I know this is an old mod and an old thread, but I wondered if anyone figured out how to install LlauMax sky pack using Vista.

Is there a way to just place the files manually?

I can help you get modul sky working on newer systems but I am not sure of Llaumax

All the sky packs have same installation method, so any general instruction should work on them all.

I don't know what modul sky is.

Does it include improved NV goggles?

I downloaded it and it sounds cool, but I probably do need help installing it.

I'll back up my files and see if I can get it installed.

Edit: I just tried running setup.bat and it ends up telling me "access denied".

I got same for hisky and Lloumax install.

I am running on Vista.

Hey Pazuzu,

I will try to get this instruction video done tuesday....I forgot I have a family party to go to.

If this helps until then great!

put the !modulsky in your OFP folder, open the folder, run setup..bat

Now download Total commander ( http://www.ghisler.com/whatsnew.htm )

Unrar the Resource folder from the modulsky.rar

Now open total commander->Configuration->options->plugins->the first button with configure (about the.WCX files)

First type .pbo in the file extension bar

Then press New type, look for your Unrared resource folder and open the file pboplugin.wcx

press ok->ok

In total commander, look up the following folder in the left window

Got to your OFP folder!modulskydtahwtldata3d.pbo and open it

In the right window, go to your unrared Resource folder, and drag all the files from your the right window to the left window->ok->overwrite all

Ok, I tried doing what you explained.

When I ran setup.bat it told me "Access Denied"

I went ahead and d/l Total commander and used it to open the file pboplugin.wcx and pressed ok twice.

Then in total commander I looked for modulsky/dta/hwtl/data3d.pbo

I couldn't find it. There was nothing like that in there.

Does running the bat. install that pbo?

hmmm I am not sure, I did have the same problem at first aswell. I hopefully will finish the instruction video soon I have just been realy busy, doing the whole school, Rotc, and sports thing : 0

Don't know if I can get my microphone working so it might just be an old fashion silent follow as I do kind of deal.

Just wanted to let you know, I managed to get modulsky installed.

I just fooled around with my file & folder security and that allowed the bat to install the files.

I love the NVG in this mod.

I did try to use it while using ECP but I got stuck with the ECP NVG. Is there a way to keep the modulsky NVG while using other mods?

Hi, I'm back and with a new problem.

I had to reinstall OFP recently and now I'm having trouble getting !modulsky installed again.

The problem I have now is a different error message I get.

It reads:

"Error in packer plugin "pbo" calling packfiles for c:\operationflashpoint\!modulsky\dta\hwtl\data3d.pbo

Please report to the plugin author

The report error is: External exception

EEDFADE"

I went through the usual process of using Total commander and dragging the files from the recource folder to my OFP folder !modulsky dta hwtl data3d.pbo

It allowed me to overwrite every file except the pboplugin ecx file

That one gives me the above error.
