Lagushina: Please come get her already

So I find Lagishina and take her to the LZ where I get ambushed as the heli arrives. I fight off the attackers and guess what. The heli never comes back to get her. I just stand in the field holding my....Should I just busta cap in her and move on?

The insurgent technicals knocks out the chopper so you need to take them out quickly. Unfortunately you don't get any messages of this but you should see/hear the chopper crash. If that happens, either retry or execute her.

the chopper will get shot down. heres wut u do:

1. get the lav 25

2. go into giant forest west of manhatten and kill everything there. the main targets are 2 uazs with the 50 cals on them (they can kill star force 21 too!)

3. once the camps there are clear and the jeeps destroyed go to lingushina and save. then arrest her and go to the landing sight.

4. hope the main base doesnt shoot the chopper down.

if main base shoots down chopper go to 5a

if chopper arrives go to 5b

5a. scream at ur computer, hit it with a hammer, take it to best buy to fix it then reload the save

5b. continue with the mission on a happiness rush

Try bigger fonts and more question marks when you ask... :rolleyes:

Read the mission profile, it states her movements quite accurately. I had to sit outside the church and wait for her to appear. You can see her car outside the church.

What I had to do was get the hummer back at base (with the woman running after me), went back and picked up razor, drove to LZ, got in as gunner and took out the UAZs myself. Chopper landed safely, she got aboard and I completed the task. I believe I got 1/2 evidence from it as well.

u have to read all ur intel before starting an open ended mission. its reccomended even for a linear mission! i assumed u read it already!

I have the same problem. Unfortunately when I escorted to LZ Lagushina, some enemies arrived and the chopper did not land.

I found that the LZ "New Jersey" was very near to main enemy CHEDAKI base...........:eek:

So I captured (with Lagushina near me) the main Chedaki Base. Then I received the message to come back to LZ.

But...no pick up or helicopter arrived in 10 minutes....:confused:

SUGGESTION TO BIS PROGRAMMER: set the Helicopter which takes away Lagushina as INVINCIBLE or TRASPARENT. In this way the helicopter CANNOT be destroyed and CAN take Lagushina at first attempt!

All in all, it's all about gameplay. Very easy.

Version: ArmA 2, patch 1.02 (last update)

After unable to carry Lagushina inside the helicopter, I carried with me Lagushina all around the map to complete the other objectives:

- main chedaki base

- weapons in Gorka

- the last n.2 sentry camps.

She was a good companion!

After that, Capt Shaftoe called me to the base and mission finished regularly.

The objective "Escort Lagushina to LZ" disappeared in the mission resume.

It's ok.The mission works to me. :)
