Can you use a flight simulation yoke?

I'm curious if you can use one that is two handed rather than the single stick. Any one know if there's specific ones that work and don't work?

As nanoreuda says, other controllers work. A yoke is, functionally, identical to a joystick, it's just physically put together differently.

Yes you can. My HOTAS works too.

I've used a CH yoke in MSFS and tried it in a few combat games. IMO, it's not nearly responsive enough for effective combat (even with the deadband tightened up). They are great for large, lumbering simulator aircraft or general aviation, but not the best choice for yank-and-bank fighters.

They also have a rather large footprint on the desktop. They can block some keyboard trays with their clamping systems and removing them after flight can be a bit more of a pain than a traditional joystick or HOTAS setup. I'd suggest you try one before you buy (or at least purchase it from someone with a return policy).

ymmv
