This is documented under "UNIVERSAL CONTROLS" on page 0.10 of the OFP (Euro edition) Field Manual.

And since it wont affect the game at all (just shows the text in the top corner of yer screen), I dont think we should worry about this 'bug' smile.gif

No, what he means is that sitting in the editor screen, looking at the map, not in the game, and typing an expression in the init line of a unit that contains '-' or '=' will result in a message at the top left saying timex4 or whatever, as if you were ingame

another bug that I've noticed is that sometimes the lines extending from the cursor to the edge of the map window that are sorta like crosshairs disappear sometimes, leaving you with just the little square in the middle, which is annoying as I use those to line objects up with each other

Yes, I get that in the mission editor also, and I don't remember it happening b4 1.4, although I didn't get much time to look at 1.3. But as has been said, it isn't a serious bug, so don't expect it to be fixed too soon. BIS are busy with stuff that's gonna make the game better, and I think we should leave them to it.

Your other prob may be caused by low specs?

a tbird 1.4, 384mb RAM and a Radeon 8500 are hardly 'low specs' wink.gif

thing is it only started happening after 1.4

The "time acceleration 2x, 4x" bug has been around since 1.00 and it's hardly a big bug.

Here is another bug in the game, not the editor. I have version 1.46. I was playing the single player mission (the one that recommends 1 GHZ CPUs). It's the one where you and about 30 GI race down a hill to take the field.

I started gunning down my comrads (when the box says shoot anyone, they are right; sometimes I shoot my commanding officer because I get tired of hearing him bark out orders). Anyway, if you are standing staight up and walk over a fallen body, nothing happens. However, if you press "Q" which I think is a squat and walk over the body, the body will be pushed/dragged in front of you along the ground.

I've always been able to "push" my team mates around when they're prone, it's helpful when you orderr them to stop and go prone, only to find out they're behind a tree. I use to push them to get better fields of fire or better concealment. I've never tried to push a dead body around, so I don't know for sure.

Die Alive:

Perhaps this is not a bug. Perhaps this has some utility. Anyway, I tried for the first time last night to "Hide Body" after I popped a guard. I did not know what to expect. I thought both my hands would grab the corpse and drag him to the nearest bush or tree. Instead, the body just sunk in the ground. I thought that was funny.

you create a magic pool of quicksand around the body with your mind and magically send the body to the depths of it but there is only one drawback to this mental ability. the shadow of the body remains! it is pretty weird

It reminds me of one of the old Star Trek episodes where people were being killed and all was left of them was and outline of their bodies, something like a police chalk outline.
